(NEVER) Let It Out, People Care (NOT)
When you have so much negativity in you and the voice inside your head screaming "LET IT OUT" almost grows temporary hands to smother you or slap you to make you obey. It is powerful, no doubt, but it's far from being reasonable.
Having power never meant being right.
It says "You'll feel better once you let it out. It never hurts. Keeping it inside will only make it grow. People care, they can help if they knew what's wrong."
Ok, that's when I had to interrupt! People care? Seriously? Maybe about themselves. But people never care about others, not unless there's something in it for them. Parents want to be proud of their sons, friends want to help their friend so that he would help them back another day...
Yes, my best philosopher, historian, and scholar, "Ibn Kholdoun", says "الانسان مدني بطبعه"(Man is a natural social being). We're only social because we need to be. One can't be his own baker and builder and doctor and engineer... We need each other, but that doesn't mean we care about each other.
As for "It never hurts": Well, yes it never hurts if it's locked. I see it, negativity, as poison. It doesn't hurt the snake because it belongs inside, but once it's injected into someone or something else, it's deadly.

Yet we show each other so much more kindness than we often lay on ourselves. Caring is supposed to be an exchange although it often isn't, you want people to care about you, but when they don't, at all, and you can still care about them. I suppose it depends on your definition of caring ;)

I agree to a large extent with what you say even if it is subconscious that we expect a return. When we don't get that it's disappointment that can turn into rage
