A word is like a sword
sometimes a word is like a sword
and a second is a line
after it nothing is fine
and the reason is a word
in a second you can choose
to forget, to hate and loose
what you thought you'll always have
what you thought you'll always love
and the reason is a word
for a word is like a sword
and this is how the world works
keeping calm never works
just like crossing a battle field
with no sword and with no shield
remember this and note it down
when you’re lost or feeling drown
having just too much to hold
you feel your heart and all your vines
giving up like they’re too old
you look around and nothing chines
everything is dark And cold
Many duties and timelines
And nothing’s left to be told
every moment you decide
to give up or to go on
if you choose to run and hide
all your efforts would be gone
faded away with your pride
and then what’s left to be won?
Sometimes a smile fills the space
and gets you what you used to trace
put a smile on your face
and see the world, this little place
as a thing you can just claim
as a thing you can embrace
the world will never look the same
smile and work with hope and grace
choose a target you will aim
let it be so hard to chase
let it be so far and small
let it be behind a wall
let it not be clear at all
just smile and aim and watch it fall
for a smile fills the space
and gets you all you used to chase
for the world, this little place
Is something you can embrace

This is a great poem. But I'm still a learner in this category. I'll just say that truly the word is like the sword, if you don't know how to use it, you might end up damaging yourself and others.
Sad but true !
