Sucks Feeling Sick. Still Having Alright Time.

Got out to the pub in the next town to not say inside the house to much. Was good to get out. No one played any music while I was there. My brother played old ninja turtles for Nintendo while there. There is games set up at some of the booths at the pub. Played Mario 3 too and he just had to warp to level 8. Probably because we were watching the fastest times on Mario 3 on the web so... haha kinda funny.

We have been watching Netflix and I'm connecting certain shows. Watching this German one called Dark that is really similar to Stranger Things! Also watching the new Black Mirror too. Seeing some similarities with Twin Peaks which I watched recently too. Some common themes are forests, caves, power lines, alternate dimensions, alternate time lines. I will further delve into this and the symbolism behind it. Says something about our culture and all that. I was told I should watch Dirk Gently but I like the darker tone to the shows I'm watching.

Perhaps could help inspire me to write a song or album. Perhaps write a similar narrative as these shows. A kind of fantasy and put it into a concept for music or something. Put out my own cultural critique of the genre with a work or artistry. Well the fam is in bed now so gotta be quiet. I will have to go to bed soon. Glad I could type out a few thoughts. Helps me clear my head I find. Didn't see the friend tonight but will see them tomorrow.
