Big Time Upcoming Shift Of Life. Keen To Keep On Course.

I would call little shifts big time shifts if they were a long time in the making. Some possible events coming up that I can't just pass by, yet they will if I don't make it happen. Work is a gruelling sport. The steady work we have now comes with risks. The new era for us as construction workers where we now do restorations 'cause we ran out of regular work. We re-texture some fancy shacks and if the costumer doesn't like the final result we don't get paid and our expenses aren't covered either. Imagine that. There is no way to match a texture job exactly as the ones that came in before you. Too many variables. So yea it's scary and risky with picky costumers. Plus we want to get out of construction for awhile for health reasons. Limited options. Ideally would like to vary up income. Have a few different skills other than just the main trade. Keep your options open.

I'm finding means to jump start back into musical endeavours. Am going to help with a re-vamp of open mic at the local music pub. To me that is exciting. I must learn to run the booth. Also must get my musical knack in order right away so I can help push the music along through the night. Play something that inspires others to play. It's a job that will utilise, enhance and practice my skill. That is all happening within the week. Also working some in the same place, plus there is a friend who opened a health boutique in the same area. Wow I will be interacting with community and talking to people. Working, learning new skills. Just a feeling like I have some more independence and can branch off from family a bit. My desire seems to be leaning in that direction. See how it works out...it's all helping to prepare for around Halloween to mid November.

In mid November on the 15th my dad is getting surgery for his basal skin cancer on the side of his head. That will be quite the ordeal for me. It's by his ear. Hope it doesn't sever any nerves or effect his hearing. On November 12th is my birthday! So yea allot of events happening. One thing helping me through is that I will see a Rap show just before then, my favorite group The Outlawz, 2pac's group. Got the VIP, stoked cause I like music from the underground that came out on top. I remember the times in the 90's with Kurt Cobain of Nirvana and 2pac. They are very real raw and honest music artists growing up. Stoked to meet others from that era. Imagine that - being in an underground movement and sound and rising up to the heights of world recognition. Being in the mix of pop culture. The job would be a spokesperson from where you are coming from to be understood. Take Power and use it for Good! I suggest to check out Outlawz, hard raps that make sense, I can feel they are coming to PRIME. Some hints on promoting cultural expression to the outer mass. Learn something like that and have good time when I see them.

So yea, a more of journalistic type entry to steemit tonight. I don't mind doing that here from time to time. I see the internet and social media as one big doodle pad and canvas. Everything said and expressed is an experiment and I never take online experience very seriously. I think it's good to just say something, express something, get it off your chest, put it out there, and the public can digest it and give you feedback. I don't have many secrets or much to hold back. I like to feel rather free when it comes to these mediums. When you write something out you remind yourself of your own thoughts and can examine them in a different way.
