Integrity is a type of value we should possess as human. It is an unique quality people look for in fellow human being. Let's look at the meaning of Integrity.
Integrity is the ability to stick to sound moral principles st all times. Integrity is one of the important qualities an individual must possess in a society. Every society needs people of integrity because they provide moral strenght for the develepment of the society. A person of integrity will always stand by what is right and will never change his position, no matter the situation.

ATTRIBUTES OF INTEGRITY

1. PROBITY: This is the state of being honest completely. A person with integrity possesses sound moral character. In our daily activities in the society. It is important for us to be completely honest.
2. CONTENTMENT: Integrity makes someone to be contented with whatever he or she has. Contentment is the state of being happy and satisfied with what we have. People of integrity are always contented with whatever they have.
3. TRUTHFULNESS: This is the act of speaking the truth always. A truthful person does not tell lies.
4. FAIR PLAY: This is the act of giving equal treatment to everybody irrespective of age, gender, tribe, religion, etc. A man of integrity always treats people equally. He or she does not discriminate.
   

IMPORTANCE OF INTEGRITY IN THE SOCIETY

1. It brings about communal development.
2. It eradicates corruption in the society.
3. It makes one have confidence in whatever he does.
4. It also brings honour to individuals and to the society at large.
5. People of integrity serve as role models to young ones.
6. Integrity gives room for good character formation.
7. It brings about hard work and commitment to one's work.
