2017 Cardboard Boat Race
Here is our annual entry for the New Braunfels Cardboard Boat Race and River Expo. In its 6th year the boat race is a community-wide event. We have been racing from the beginning along with the New Braunfels Yacht Club who is the main sponsor and puts on the event. The City of New Braunfels sets up booths with games and prizes for the kids and teaches them about the river and conservation. This year there were over 30 boats entered with prizes for the best race time and creativity.
Thanks for all the love. The best part is the little kids yelling "The Millennium Falcon! The Millennium Falcon!" When it starts down the tube chute. That right there made it worth building.
