Babaji took a burning wood from that fire and killed one of his disciple. Babaji's disciples protested against burning wood like this. On this Babaji kept his hand on the shoulder of that disciple and said that I have not brought any suffering to you but today has postponed your death.

Similarly, the second thing mentioned by Yogananda, according to him, once a person came to Babaji and he started insisting on initiation from him with a loud emphasis. When Babaji gave up, he threatened to jump down the mountain. On this Babaji said 'jump up', the man jumped off the hill without any reason. People living there watching this scene were shocked. Then Babaji told the disciples, "Get down from the hill and bring his dead body." The disciples went down the hill and brought a corpseal body. Put the body in front of Babaji. As soon as Babaji placed his hand on the body, the dead person was saved alive. After this Babaji told him that "From today you have joined my party. This was your last test. '
