Yes, we usually fear for things that we do not understand yet. It takes a time to think when we try a new thing that we do not understand. I understand what you mean, sometimes we have friends who were left behind (accidentally or unaccidentally), but we never leave them. it likes as philosophy how to ride together. Nice posting! :)
