A lot of people could use help getting their gardens started. It's nice that you could exchange some gardening work for a place to stay. It looks like you did a nice job of your gardening chores! : )
Yes we could all use some extra help. I always try to give. For the word "give" is one of the oldest original unchanged words in the English reason for good reason I believe.
And it's nice that people are open to strangers helping them with chores. Interesting history about the word "give". Thanks!
