Bangkok Lads Tough Street Workers...!!
Bangkok City can be a non such third world country when you look around and see how developed it really is with all it's tall modern skyscrapers , huge shopping malls and great transport system like the BTS sky train and MRT underground trains but do we ever really stop and look at how hard the Bangkok lads really work to have bought Bangkok City to what it is today. No matter weather it's in construction work or simply digging up the streets to lay down wiring or piping or modified the walkways it's all done patiently and as team with no fuss or safety precautions and you see this all over Thailand.
Operating a jackhammer with no ear muffs or safety shoes and the lads are having a chat happy as...!!
No wheelbarrows or manually lifted and carried...!!
This lad i found around the corner from the walkway workers in a hole using a shovel bringing out the dirt back breaking job and no gum boots to protect his feet from that dirty mud water in that hole yet he is hard at work.
Could you imagine someone doing this work behavior in another country like Australia for example it just wouldn't be thought of or even seen yet these lads have no quarrel about it more importantly no choice they need to support themselves or there family and what would you think they earn for a long hard working day like this....lucky if they take home 250 - 300 baht a day that's equivalent to about $10 US
You know it really sadness me that salary and conditions have to be so underprivileged for some countries we should be treated equally when it comes to hard labor like this but unfortunately the high ends don't see it this way. No Rules , No Safety Rules , No Work Insurance Cover , No Benefits. Many die in these work conditions and no one gives a shit...Life is cheap in some countries.
