The most dangerous Countries
I found this article and find a bit funny and abnormal at the same time. We look at some countries as the most dangerous ones, but do we really believe that! When we think about whats happening in every country and what every individual calls dangerous, it might not make sense. In some countries we have wars, but people are still living there, working and shopping. In other countries we hear about big Mafias walking with guns, kidnapping and killing people. But did you see anything when you last visited ? Well I havent even seen a real gun yet :D
In some countries we have kids walking with guns and killing other children in the schools. Yes I believe in democracy, but still find it wrong to own guns. Why cant we just live a normal life without fear and without sleeping with a gun beside our beds. Is our world really that cruel! I left for you the link of the article if you are curious :)

I live in England where self protection is illegal, you get minimum jail time sentences for carrying a knife, gun, in fact anything that is considered a weapon. Homeowners get jailed for harming burglars in self defense.
Now if there is no crime then this isn't really a problem. I live in a small town where there has been two drive by shootings in the last month. This sort of thing was unheard of until recently.
So what do I do now to defend myself and kin? When it's illegal to even own pepper spray!

When you disarm the lawful citizens, then only the law-breakers have weapons. When the police arrive it's to late, they just carry your body out.
Yes very true, the police around here do exactly that (they like to watch and gather evidence of a crime, rather than stop it from happening). If i was in a country that allowed self protection, i would fight to keep it that way.
@manorvillemike In my country the police arrives 30 minutes after you call them, even if they are in the same area. Always when it is too late!
@cryptothoughts In my country it is also illegal. Thats the problem actually! Good people have always to pay for what bad people do. We arent allowed to have guns, while others would have it and use it the wrong way :(
