I just posted a super long (19,000 character+) response to a simple question on Reddit about one of my ideas. I think the response is actually pretty cool! Check it out below and let me know why you think it's stupid or not!steemCreated with Sketch.

Here's the actual thread. Whoops. Guess I just doxxed myself. Whoops, I guess I already did with my Steem username. Whoops. Again, Thread

I'm going to post pictures too just in case for some reason that gets deleted. That was probably the most ridiculous thing I've ever done on Reddit. I'm not going to post the pictures right now because I want to make sure no secure information was on my screen when I took the screenshots. Rest assured though, I'm absolute ass at Photoshop so even if this was something cool enough to be lying about to impress people, I couldn't make the necessary edits to convince you that I actually did it. In other words, this isn't me jumping over 16 monster trucks on fire while drinking a monster and doing a backflip - so why the fuck why I attempt to fake it. I do, however, think it will be worth sharing with some of you so you can help me tear it apart and we can actually start making some lasting, positive change in the world.

Here it is:

We should create a cryptocurrency that rewards people for positive behavior in society and use that currency as a new value of exchange : CrazyIdeas

From that, it follows that you're going to have to create open source technology that can compete with models and machines from those gargantuan companies, and I don't claim that that will be easy. But, I do believe that if you can frame certain achievements with higher rewards in a capitalistic systems that are currently in existence and if you can follow of the laws currently in existence while also improving on the moral quality of the behaviors at the higher ends of the hierarchy, I believe you can motivate the individuals that exhibit similar creative tendencies and talents or perhaps even those we created the systems originally to work to put together a completely new structure in an open source manner not even necessarily for the good of society. Yes, society would certainly benefit and you would not be doing this at society's behest, but you would be benefitting perpetually and permanently (so long as the system was successful) for the contributions that you cooperatively added to the system. In this way, you still encourage capitalism, but you avoid the part where we keep trying to iterate on exactly the same thing. (social media - snapchat, instagram, facebook, pinterest, etc) Take for example the list of companies preceding this sentence. They are worth hundreds of billions of dollars (could be just billions but my point remains) and all the really do is share pictures and text in a different manner. This isn't arguable. Nothing you see on your phone combines anything except for pictures, sound, and motor instructions. Everything that happens on your phone and everything that happens on your computer, or any digital media exchange device for that matter is a combination of those things. I’m not trying to argue these devices aren’t useful by the way or that these companies don’t all provide some different value for society and all of those that make up society, but rather I’m trying to claim that, since these 100’s, if not 1,000’s of different multi million dollar companies weren’t competing upon not only solving the unique problems that each respective section of each respective platform that they are attempting to solve without a previously existing solution that works perfectly well, but rather innovating on solving problems that haven’t been fixed and repeatedly attempted to be fixed ad nauseam because they know there is quick money to be made there. In order to do this, we could cooperate to form the perfect plug and play components that will work on all different platform types and form factors, from Android, iOS and web to python command line interface to laptop computer with a beautiful crisp display. TVs, audio methods, image only methods, and all other methods could ideally be planned into allowing the system to run on because resources would expand infinitely for creating cooperative solutions all over the world for exactly what people specialize at because they are able to do anything that will somehow benefit society. If we can convince all of society that benefiting others is the best thing they can do not only for their happiness, the people around them’s happiness, but for the happiness and prosperity for the rest of society for the largest amount of time possible! They could be serving as the translators for the technology, so that a 9th grade student from Banglehish in 2184 can read the Kotlin Android program of 2017 that the guy that is writing this article was writing at work. For the first time in human civilization, we have condensed the amount of space it takes to store written and spoken communication in a way where we can watch our ancestors on video and see what they used to look like. Maybe that’s not there yet with my generation, as I remember growing up at my grandmother’s house without internet - or perhsaps the fact that I remember when she changed from dial up to high speed. And I remember when my parents used to buy the disks that had the internet on them. I grow up with the Internet, but not in the way that kids born in 20 years from now will have grown up in the Internet. And that will most obviously be both a blessing and a curse. It’s a curse for obvious reasons as well as some that I feel may be possibly slightly less obvious. Or at least they would have been to me before I were to hear this if I wasn’t me. So one of the biggest issues that I foresee with this is that there will be so much information, things may not make sense at all as to what we were actually like. And I will admit that this observation and evaluation really are only even relevant to be considered if you think that kind of thing is important. If you don’t think it’s important to know who our ancestors were and that the ability to learn from there mistakes wouldn’t be a great tool that would hopefully help to improve the existence of society as well as the prosperousness of society, then what is your purpose for even engaging in this discussion. As sane, acceptable human beings, we must also obviously accept a very small set of unspoken agreed upon laws, despite whether or not we would be punished if we happened to exhibit them. In other words, in the case that no punishment was doled out by some controlling tangible force (i.e. government or you can say your religion’s diety, etc- In other words - YOUR MOST SINCERE, HONEST, TRUTHFUL JUDGE (thank you Jordan Peterson for all of your lectures ;) ) then there are certain things that a “Good” or “Just” human simply could not stomach the feeling of doing, let alone the action itself. Some of these most obvious behaviors that need to be innate to human beings for them to be considered a human being rather than an animal are the following: rape, incest, murder, physical harm, theft, endangerment of children and women. I WOULD LIKE TO HIGHLY STRESS that this is not an exhaustive list. There is a chance that in a rush to write down all of these thoughts as they occurred to me, I could have skipped over one or more of those actions. However, I have to confidently say that I don’t think that is the case right now. I’ll repeat them without reading back up above and you can trust I did this because why the fuck would I lie and then tell you what I did? Those acts which I believe a human must not be able to have the stomach for, or to feel literally ill at the thought of committing are murder, endangerment of children or woman, incest, pedophilia was one that I forgot because that truly makes me the most physically ill at the thought of, and the harm of the elderly was one I didn’t mention earlier because I believe that’s already covered in don’t physically harm anyone. And now just went back up and read the other list and it looks like I’ve forgotten theft, but added two others. My point is that the list can continue, but much care needs to be taken in explaining that those are the worst characteristic traits humans can exist. For one, that list is hard to contemplate the population of. “Things that make you sick physically ” is a category that is absolutely familiar to everyone. I believe there are different ways to become physically sick such as being poisoned by accidental congestion of food, or performing some thrill activity such as piloting a plane or at least being a passenger in one, skydiving, driving race cars, riding roller coasters, etc that don’t necessarily come from a bad place, but this feeling is similar to pain in that it doesn’t matter whether you believe in it or not. You can feel it and it will effect you the exact same way it will affect an enormous majority of those both very similar and quite different from you. For example, if I accidentally cut my thumb of as a chef at a hole in the wall restaurant in Bangkok 1000 years ago, it will feel almost exactly the same if I become a billionaire and the rutter on my helicopter cut my pointer finger off as I waved good bye to my board of executives to go on vacation to Hawaii. Two completely different types of people in two completely different times doing two completely different things but the sensation is exactly the same. Okay, and also I might have to add that there might not have been the concept of a whole in the wall restaurant 1,000 years ago but damn, after watching game of thrones, isn’t a lot more possible than you thought with just using primitive technology and primitive, non technologically existent techniques. Oh yeah, and there wasn’t an internet back then. Think about that, then think about all the beautiful pyramids. Think about Stonehenge. Think about beautiful eurpoean cathedrals. Contninue thinking about the fact that THERE WAS DEFINITELY NO INTERNET AT THIS TIME AND YOU CAN’T JUST “GOOGLE IT” and then realize how little it actually means that Google exists if it’s just going to cause us all to stagnate as a society and it will use its massive will and influence for maintaining control and not for motivating the youth just like the founders were motivated to hack away in their parent’s basements. These enormous companies wouldn’t exist if it wasn’t for those brilliant creative minds that thrived for anarchy and wanted the system that was controlled before to be overthrown. Or maybe they didn’t give a shit and just wanted to make cool stuff and hack away at “This atari” thing. As the previous generations blew up and took the place in control of the generations before them, they didn’t put in place safeguards to make sure that the openness and sharing of information (hypothetically - I claim to be no expert here and am just tlaking from thought experiment) that allowed these hackers to get inside different board and hook different things together to eventually form the computer, then cell phone and then the widespread adoption of the internet? I’m just saying that the innovation has, with no doubt, but almost all but stifled. Blockchain, along with cryptocurrency, provide a very interesting difference to that pattern, and that’s why we’re seeing such a movement behind it. Throughout society’s history, the battle between privacy and encryption has waged on for thousands of years. There is always an ebb and flow,. And it almost always causes ENORMOUS changes of power. Some can happen more peacefully than others, while other transitions of power can happen less peacefully should their governmental bodies not be too large or too corrupt. However, in the case where the controlling party was too large, there were measures put in place by the 2nd place party to take back contorl. It’s scary to think about that, because if you believe in true peace and honesty and truly believe that good thigns can happen in this world and you realize how beautiful life is (espeically human life and a verifiably conscious existence) and how much you should value it and how much you should try to protect it in as many different ways as you can, then you simply cannot believe that any violence should ever occur. Of course, you would protect yourself if physical harm were to be imminently and obviously threatened upon you or ESPECIALLY your family, but that’s not taking initial violence as an option. It simply isn’t. I believe civil discourse (which now requires much more innovative organiziation than currently exists [see Kialo - which sections up debates, but still doesn’t get it perfect]) can be key to solving any problem of any size, scale or magnitude. I think if we can get society all pointing in some universal positive direction being as diverse and as different as we are today, I believe we can truly bring peace to all different people. If you have any disagreemnt with that hypothetical, just say way and explain your reasoning. I’m very curious to see if you think you can pull that arguemnt apart without providing for absurd edge cases. And then if you can do that, can you provide a way to fix that edge case? To test for it? To detect that it may come up if somebody uses the system for some unexpected way? If you assume that humanity in general can trust every other member of society because being postive ALSO makes more powerful, wealthy and well off, then you have to explain every other instance of crime on different reasons than simply making it by and earning a living.I can think of two reasons why an actor would still be negative, deceitful or destructive in that society: either psycopathy OR some kind of developmental abnormality of no fault to the inflicted. Any other crime committed could be traced back to the desire for survival of oneself and for ones family. If we get the smartest minds of the world together to be able to think about thoughts like that, as well as the problems that arise from (if you could consider it) that positive outcome for society, such as perhaps rapid population growth, ever changing norms as moods average statistics increase, etc, we can not only improve our own existensce, our loved ones existences, and existences of those that come after us. I think that sounds like a much better plan for living a true and fulfilled life than working in someone elses building pretending to agree with someone else’s thoughts doing something that ultaimately would just be another attempt at solving a solved problem. Finally, I will say that this stance would NOT be easy withou a firm financial ground with which to proceed independently. I cannot imagine saying these things if I wasn’t in the fortunate situation I was in financially. And I will also admit that I had no control over how I was created, who my parents were, where they lived, and how lucky they were in the exact same way. And oh yeah, that had to happen a few thousand times over and each combination had to eventually lead up to you. Just look back as far as you can in time to what you remember and then compare that amount of time to how old you are. That’s just the percentage of time that YOU WERE HERE that you don’t remember. That’s already a percentage. Then, realize that even if you live 100 years, looking back to only as far back as some of the most conservative (and I mean REAL conservative) estimates fo the earth are without any scientific claims whatsoever, then it would take you living a full 50 lives to reach from the beginning to the end of that existence. I’m just taking a really long time to say that even though we have Google, we have no clue about most of anything, espeically when it comes to what should be considered positive morals and goals for ourselves and as a collective that actually exhibit positivty. But you know what? I’m going to try and figure out if that’s possible because with outcomes as positive as I can imagine not only for society but for humanity as a collective both now and in the future, I would simply not be trying to do something that I thought sounded really cool and would bum me at a lot if I never got the opportunity to consistently experience failure and improvement through in order to feel like my life meant something. I have the love of my life now, and so my life truly feels complete, but now, to show her how much she means to me, I want to truly make a postiive difference in the world like she made in mine. I can try to do sweet things like get her flours and take her on dates and treat her like my Queen, but in order to show her how electric her love makes me feel in quite a literal sense, I have to actually do something of value with my life that makes that positive change. I have to show her that I learned to love myself after she did. And I learned to put faith back in myself after she did. She knows how truly selfish I am, how selfish I truly am if I just think about why I’m doing anything. Literally anything. Any good thing I do comes with the best feeling of excitement. It feels better than sex, it feels better than drugs, it feels better than alcohol, it feels better than getting like on Facebook (I include that last one in here not becuase it bares any value close to that of the feeling I’ve described, but rather as a stark constrasting realization to those that didn’t agree that Facebook is not experience as I attempted to explain earlier. Facebook, all other similar social media sites that are centralized are attempting to make people forget about going out and making their own experiences. Decnetralized social media sites and decentralization in general make you remember your true potential and make you want to go make your own experiences to share them in the world. So back to what I was saying though. She will know that since she makes me feel so amazing, and I know she knows that since she knows me absolutely, then she will know that me putting faith in myself means that I know that she knows me completely and loves me completely and want the most for my happiness that the best thing I can do is to prove she’s right. HAHAHA that’s about the best I can do explaning that. Sorry if it comes off super stupid or makes you think anything but positive thoughts. If this sounds negative to you, I’ve done a terrible job explaining myself (as I often do if you haven’t noticed) but if you have noticed, I do have some pretty cool ideas that are expressed a little different than anything (at least that I’ve seen online and in entertainment and discussion with peers) I’ve seen or experienced.

So, that was a lot to write in response to your question about whether I think that it will just be giant advertisement for who can gather up the best propagandists, but I hope it does serve to answer your question. Looking forward to hopefully discussion that reply, although I imagine if at all it will be a while. You just had a very interesting piece of feedback that I hadn’t considered and I would love to here more unique critiques as I truly want to be able to answer all types of questions on it before we could think about making it work fully. "

PS: Yes, this is taking into account that I more than likely have ABSOLUTELY no idea what I'm talking about and I'm more than likely wrong about most of it. But, I'm going to take advantage of my right as some dickhead that thinks he's smart enough to say these things and going to continue believe these things have a possibility of being true until I am convinced that this collective positive group ethic aim would have anything but a net positive gain on society's overall objective well being. It does however, build in the clause that any idea you have I would love to hear and will debate until we get down to the smallest of issues, and then still further crack them. And if we can't get to the bottom of that, then perhaps something needs to be reworded more in fact than mere opinion and example. And that's fine, but I believe when it gets down to it, this is, in its very essence, a [FUCK I FORGOT THE WORLD - IT'S SOMETHING LIKE EXPERIENTIAL, AND IT'S A RESULT THAT HAS TO BE OBSERVED AND CAN'T SOLELY BE REASONED ABOUT - FUCK LOOKING IT UP NOW - it's existential. But after reading the definition on Google, it's not defined exactly how I thought it was. But anyway, thoughts the word I was thinking of right or wrong. And it's just the notion that this is something that eventually has to be set in motion, and we have to perfrom as many thought experiments (and real experiments - within reason) to verify our expectations, while also setting failsafe recovery points all along the way so that success is defined and so is failure, and we have a roadmap of what to do as a society if there is something indication that a failure is going to occur, and that all the while doing these things, also maximizing the freedom of the society. ) So, help me figure out where this is wrong and where it can be improved or explained better, or flat out why you think something like this would be impossible or possible but wouldn't work the way I thought. Explain all of those things. The least I ask is that you give me a way to learn a positive lesson out of your feedback and try and keep the feedback constructive and kind? I've got feelings too ya know - despite that I'm just some guy behind a keyboard to you :)

Also, finally, I'm very sorry for all of the typos. The comment was asked somewhere around an hour ago and I've been typing since it was asked.

Thank you if you've somehow made it through this reading.

And then I just came across this post after writing all this. Wow. And sometimes they say that there isn't a purpose to life. Things happen for a reason. You have to be willing and able to accept and act upon that reason, but you have to learn from that reason, repeatedly. And then you have to learn from those who have made experiences, along with mistakes that you have never and never will and then you learn to be better than you ever thought imaginable.

Just look at this link that was just posted. Too cool. Can't wait to read! Going to go over there and comment now and then finally go to sleep. Hopefully there will be some fun conversation in the morning. If not, at least I learned a lot about my thoughts and ideas tonight!
