Good Deeds and Manners- #01- What is the value of our mother to us!

In this series, I will try to post hadiths which tell us about good deeds and manners we should do and follow respectively in our daily life, as a human being.

Narrated Abu Huraira:
A man came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Who is more entitled to be treated with the best companionship by me?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your mother." The man said. "Who is next?" The Prophet said, "Your mother." The man further said, "Who is next?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your mother." The man asked for the fourth time, "Who is next?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Your father. "

The message of this hadith is very clear, though it might surprise some people. Prophet (PBUH) has prioritize mother over father for 3 times. Definitely, both of our parents should be treated with highest respect but mother is something special. Every mothers and sane person know how painful and stressful event a normal delivery can be. But it is not just the end rather starting of long term effort to raise a child.
So, Hypothetically, a child, if forced to choose one among the alive parents, (hope that no child have to face this) , he/she should choose mother.
