Terrorism and War Crime Tribunals in Afghanistan
Terrorism has been increased in the past decade. There is no doubt that terrorists, their mentors and apologists are enemies of humanity responsible for the present turmoil in Afghanistan. We should join hands in struggle for bringing them to justice. Let’s demand from UN to set up War Crimes Tribunals.
War crimes tribunal is first step to curb terrorism, if the process started it will help to raise awareness in the society and the mentors will be discouraged to stop their ugly agenda. Terrorism is great crime but some political parties in Pakistan promoting terrorism for their ulterior motives. Civil society of the world should raise collective voice and demand from United Nations to set up war crimes tribunals.
i suggest you to check out how the UN and existing war tribunals did their job so far in other countries before calling them again ^
But there is no other option , If result of the existing war tribunals is not effective it must be revisited. UN should play its role to stop war in Afghanistan .
