Gravity in past ages: dinosaurs, weight lifting, etc.

Albert Einstein tried to describe gravity as a sort of a four-dimensional differential geometry thing. Plainly, you cannot start with that and have an easy time believing that gravity near our own planet's surface could have undergone some kind of a major change within geologically recent times, but it is an easy demonstration that it has, and that a large dinosaur would be crushed by its own weight in our present gravity.
