There's Nothing To Worry About! - Why Are We Still Bitching in 2017?

Have you come to the conclusion that people are now bitching about insignificant things? For example, women are now accusing men of sexual harassment when all they have done is sent them a flirty text or asked them out on a date? We also have the 'Gender Fluid' variety of moaners who appear to want everyone to buy into their craziness of calling each other 'Zir' or Zi.

So let's have a look at the major issues that people had to bitch about in the past one hundred years and then we will compare.

1917 - World War 1

Thousands dying in the mud in Ypres, Flanders and the Somme

1927 - Women still hadn't got the vote!

Only women who owned property and were over the age of 30 could vote but votes for all women didn't come until 1928

1937 - Jews being put into Ghettos in Nazi Germany

The threat of World War 2 was looming. Hitler was rounding up Jews, Gypsies, the disabled and anyone who didn't agree with him and putting them into Ghettos to starve to death.

1947 - The War is over but people still struggled to find food. Rationing actually got worse after the war.

1957 - Racism was rife and it wasn't illegal. Black and Asian people could be turned away from services and housing simply based on the colour of their skin.

1967 - Poverty was still rife. Over one third of all children in the Uk went to bed hungry. Although wages had increased over the last decade, the working classes still struggled to survive in poor housing and inflation was high at the end of the 1960s.

1977 - Working people still didn't have many employment rights and the 1970s saw industrial actual to increase wages, give equal pay rights for women and men. There were many strikes to give us the rights to health and safety, holidays and sick pay at work that we enjoy today.

SO let's skip forward now to what we have today:

2017 - Man put a hand on my knee whilst I was having a drink with him. IT'S SEXUAL HARASSMENT!

2017 - I don't think I'm a man or a woman - I'm Gender Fluid and if you don't join me in my crazy notions you could be sacked!

The fact of the matter is this: People are now looking for new things to bitch about because, on the whole, life is fairly good in the western hemisphere. We have no wars, we have equal rights, we have good health, we have good food, we are safe.

So people are just looking for new things to bitch about. Insignificant, petty, minority issues.

AND IT'S DRIVING ME BAT SHIT CRAZY!!!!!
