All I have is borrowed time, but for now it is mine.
Through the gears of time we shift
Knowing only one direction
Knowing that it has been a gift
From the moment of inception
We shift right through the gears of time
Never really asking why?
Never asking where it goes
No one ever really knows
We shift through gears and punch the gas
Leaving time in our past
Where it stops, we never ask
What exactly is too fast?
When we reach the end of the track
Everyone always wants to go back
But it’s too late, for it is done
So just slow down and have some fun.

A lyrical poem I wrote almost exactly 6 years ago. It's amazing how much we accomplish when we continue to move forward. I lost almost 5 years of work on a computer that I had not backed up, but I'm still amazed at the amount of 'stuff' I've created over the years.
I had a professor in college, we called him "Geeth". He was a incredibly talented painter, artist, and teacher. An amazing man that once told me:
"Brandon, to truly become a great artist; you must never be afraid to finish your greatest work, your masterpiece, and destroy it."
That has been forever etched into my mind ever since. We cannot rewind the frays of time, but we can destroy & remake our greatest work. That's a beautiful reminder that we should always move forward, but don't rush. Take your time and enjoy your time; it is yours (for now).
What we do with our time truly matters.
I have spent a large sum of my time creating things. All sorts of things. I create media like paintings, graphic illustrations, carvings, music, writing, and more things than I can list with what time I'm allowing for this post. If you are interested in seeing some of my works, I will add a few below. I have created so much in my 32 years on this spinning mud-ball and I will never stop until my physical presence has expired. I am biased of course but love your creations. You've helped me out so much already with logos, business cards, banners, and more. The free hand sketches above are great too, and they remind me that I still want a black inked tattoo one day. Perhaps I could get you to draw the design?

I've done quite a few tattoo designs. My first one was my dad - drew him a custom smiley face at 8 years old. He later got it tattooed on him. It's also airbrushed on his Harley too! I get a picture of both next time I drop over their house.
What do you have in mind for your tattoo? Steemit face-tat? 😋 Too soon?
LOL, no Steemit tats for me... I have lots of ideas in mind. The problem is finding a quality artist to put the ink in me though. That's like finding the right land to buy. It's a difficult quest!
Tattoo convention - find the best artist in the same place. We have some incredible tattoo artists in the Delmarva 😎. I witnessed a guy tattoo a girl's stomach - symmetrical design, using BOTH HANDS!! That was a first for me..haha Baltimore Tattoo convention has some of the best talent I've ever seen.
