The majestic railway bridges connect the two banks of the Błędzianka river valley. Their height is impressive and very unusual for viaducts built in Masuria. Both are 250 meters long and are 36 meters high.

Concrete bridges were designed by Italians and probably because of their appearance resemble Roman aqueducts, creating an unusual view of the Masurian land. They were built in the years 1912-1926.
Today bridges are owned by a private person. One of them has already been renovated under the watchful eye of the conservator. Walking promenade at an altitude of 36 meters above the ground enjoys great interest among tourists visiting these areas.

Wonderful photographs @gregbit. Does the private owner charge for people to walk over his viaduct?

Yes, they charge. 2 Polish Zloty equals 0,46 Euro. Thank you. Greetings
