Doing it for Christ
Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
In the midst of many tasks and activities to be involved in, it's expedient to remember that everything must be done as unto God. Brethren, anything that can't be done in the name of Christ is not worth doing. No matter what's at stake or the benefits involved, we must run away from anything that contradicts the image of Christ in us. The times are evil and people are twisting the truth to justify their deeds. It's possible to be lost in the midst of Christians. We must stand out and be genuine in this end time.
One of the antidote to compromise is giving thanks to God for who we are in Christ Jesus. Appreciation to God brings us into a continuous consciousness that we are called to be different. The world system will always try to entice us with material things, but we must remember that in Christ we are more advantageous on every side. Cheer up and shake off those thoughts of compromise, stay firm in Christ and your change shall surely come. The time to do it in Christ is now.

Thank you Father for giving us the grace to be in Christ. Please strengthen us to remain faithful to you at a time like this, in Jesus name. Amen.
