Built Upon A Rock

Matthew 7
24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

According to God's word, to be wise means being a doer of God's word. The world system have a different definition of wisdom. In the world, people are considered to be wise when they can deprive others of their rights, cut corners to achieve results, defraud people or embezzle public funds. These are foolish actions before God, because the end of it all leads to destruction. But today, I present to you a more excellent way to stand out as a wise person: Doing the sayings of Christ. It's amazing how the word of God makes us wise and is evidenced in knowing the right thing to do when others are confused.

When you are a doer of God's word, your life cannot crash. This is because the word is a rock of ages, Hallelujah. No matter where you are, your color, race, your past or mistakes, if you get hold of God's principles and make it your lifestyle, the storms of life will not destroy you. Jesus is the word of God.

It's a fact of life that there'll be storms, wind and turmoils in life, but he that build his destiny in Christ can not be shaken, for Christ is unshakable, unbeatable and incomparable. I declare upon your life today, no matter the storms, you shall stand strong to the glory of God. No adversity shall bring you down all the days of your life. Your life is founded upon a rock, provided God's principles is your lifestyle.
Are you building your life on Christ or academic qualifications, political appointment, human connections, native doctors, demonic assignments, carriers, money, lust and sin?

What you build your life on determines the duration of it. Everything else outside Christ is a sinking ground. One may seem to be making it outside Christ, but in the time of storms, all shall be vanity. Since the storms are unavoidable, why not secure your life in the surest foundation. Jesus Christ is the most reliable foundation of all.

Let's pray. Righteous Father, thank you for being our dependable, reliable and everlasting foundation. Please help us to remain rooted in your word all the days of our lives. Let every discouragement, depression and distractions be cast out of our lives, in Jesus's name. Amen. Remain strong.
