The Bourbon Trail

Finally got around to planning a guys trip in the RV. It was only a 1 night trip, but we took Frankie The Third (my 31ft Class A RV) to Louisville, Kentucky to explore a handful of distilleries in the area.

Needless to say, a lot of bourbon was consumed and the headache I had this morning followed me until after dinner.

The Garage Bar was one of the cooler places we visited. They had glow up ping pong tables and we had to be basic white boys.

At Four Roses, they had shitty RV parking so I tried to cut down a grass hill and our towcar got buried 2 feet into the soil. It really could have been a lot worse, but a $15 part was all that broke off. It could have been a trip ender.

I tried to stay in the moment and didn't take a lot of the pictures. Over half the distillery tours were sold out so we were stuck with gift shops and tastings, but the big winner for me was Evan Williams. Some of there small batch stuff is top shelf.

All in all, it was a great quick getaway with friends that I desperately needed.
