RE: Strike a Pose

in #life5 years ago

Hey, @msooi.

Okay, so this brings back memories. Except, there weren't any changes of clothes, and maybe one or two poses. In fact, we might be lucky if they took more than one photo. Smiling or not, we got whatever happened in the moment. So, maybe that's where the cost is.

Anymore, with most everyone having smartphones with cameras, you could just take a picture and be done with it.

When our boys got older, they tended to like the photoshoots less, so at least you're heading in the right direction. Then, there was the year that the oldest decided to put a big blonde streak in his otherwise dark black hair, and then not smile, either. He was in American football, too, so there when they take individual and team photos, you're supposed to look all serious and tough, but for some reason he decided to carry that expression over to his official school photo, too. Except, he had the blonde streak in his hair, and it pretty much distracted from and counteracted the glare. :) Even in his football photos that year.

Hello there! Great to hear from you again. I appreciate the memories that come flooding back whenever I look at old snapshots. It's unbelievable that our head could store a lifetime of memories both of joy and sadness. Cheers!
