Flight Attendant’s Story- Welcome to Maldives
Recently flew to Maldives for work and fortunately we had two days staying there and chilled with my girls ;) Locals said actually October to January are not the good timing to go there. They are true. We were so lucky finally felt the sunshine on the second day during our stay.
How clear and beautiful the sky and water are.
We were on the boat for snorkeling. we were ready to see the beautiful sea world.
The first day we rent a boat for snorkeling and fishing. Because of the bad weather, water was quite turbid and we barely saw fish under water. So we gave up after staying into the water for 30 mins. That was still a great first experience for me and I was so blessed to see nemo around me. We heard from the locals that some corals were dead because of the water pollution from the capital of Maldives ,Male. We had been Male on the last day , and yes, there were so many garbages everywhere. What a pity. This beautiful place is so sick now.
We took boat to Sandbank surrounded by the ocean. This is a must take picture when you are there- just JUMP!!
We didn't do much during the trip but at least we still had to explore the resorts and saw how beautiful the overwater bungalows are. you can see few little baby vegetarian sharks swimming near the shore. How cute they are.
You will find some nice swimming pools in every resort and hotel there. If you don't feel like you wanna go to the ocean, then just chill at the hotel swimming pool. The atmosphere there also can make you feel like you are lying outside the bungalow and having good chilling time. Just like us. After sunbathing, just took off the clothes and jumped into the water without waiting !! That's the freedom I'm looking for long time :)
People always have a concept that we must have to spend a lot in Maldives. It only depends how luxury trip you wanna have. You can pay UDS2000 per night for the bungalow of a nicer resort. Or just like us, pay USD50 per night in a 4 star hotel and still can have a super nice sea view outside. Wherever you stay, Maldives is still a paradise for everyone. Start missing the time there with my girlfriends who are always good company for me <3
