Chief Keokuk is were my town gets it's name.

He was, a chief of the Sac and Fox Indians.

We built two monuments for him over the years. Which is nice. But we moved his grave here from Kansas to our town park, were there has been many civil war reenactments tell two years ago, when we decided not to have them here any more. 1000's of people have walked on his grave and took pictures. My town is dumb for not putting him in a cemetery. We're he could be laid to rest peacefully. There is many graves in the United States that is like this one. But it drives me crazy that we have no respect for the dead.
