What Matters in Life

in #life6 years ago (edited)

Here again are some quotes to ponder about on the things that truly matter in life. Hope you find these useful.

It doesn't really matter what kind of car you drive.

What matters is how many people you drove who didn't have transportation.

It isn't about how big the size
of your house and lot is.

It's about the number of people you welcomed to your home

The clothes you have in your closet is not as important as how many you helped clothe.

Your social status should not matter so much as the kind of class you display.

Having so much material possessions only count in as much as how you let them dictate your life.

The kind of neighborhood you live in does not make a difference. It is how you treat your
neighbors that does.

Don't ask how well your parents
cared for you when
you were young. Ask yourself how well you will care for them when they are old.

Don't worry too much
about what your job
title is. Be concerned more with
performing your job to the best of your ability.

Having many friends is good. But better still is how many people were you a friend to.

In life, it is not so much the number of promotions you receive but how you promoted others that they might succeed.

May you live life to the fullest. Set your sights and deeds to what matters most. God bless you all!

Wala baya gituyo na bai ha. He he. But in the long run doing your best can only do you good than bad. So do our best na lang gyud.

Those are so true. :) I love the last one. :) I don't have many friends. I only have so few but i am sure, i have been a friend to a lot of people who needed a friend to talk to. :) That is what matters. :)
Thanks for sharing these inspirational messages :)

You are correct. Being able to offer a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to somebody's problems can mean the world to them. That is what matters.

Because money can't buy class. :) Wonderful words of wisdom!

Yup, that's what I call breeding. If you don't have it, it will show even if you have all the money in the world. And it starts at a young age and does not need rich parents to develop and nurture it.

Thanks for dropping by @dandalion. It is always a pleasure to hear from you.
