Well written article, I'm going to resteem this. I completely agree with the stance this takes. I mean I've been saying this for a while. We have this fear that a society that is not policed will inevitably be chaotic, which is not the case. This theory actually gives the notion that people cannot control themselves in regards to violence. I'm black and I've known my own people to be "reactive", not naturally violent at all, the same as most cultures. So who are these police protecting then? Crazy, dope read.
