Eureka, I've Found It
Well this is what is called click bait because I ain't found anything. No way to get up votes, no clear idea as to how to post a winning article, no money to invest in Bitcoin which is going up but might just burst with the coming hard fork, hell I don't even have an idea what Eureka means. So to inform myself and also inform you I will see what I can find about it on Google.
OK, so one of the explanations for the origin of the word Eureka is an exclamation made by Archimedes a Greek mathematician and inventor when he at last found something he was looking for something like the volume of water displaced must be equal to the volume of whatever is displacing it. Somehow I thought this word was linked with the California Gold Rush of 1849, but I will keep on searching.
Yes, it is the State Motto of California, referring to the momentous discovery of gold near Sutter's Mill in 1848 so I wasn't too far off. It is also associated with another gold rush in Ballarat, Australia in 1854. This one is funny because I was just reading a Sherlock Holmes book and this Ballarat place was mentioned in it, I had never heard of it before.
So, you see after all even though it was click bait I learned something and I hope you did too.
