Thank you for sharing! Nice post. I do agree that smell can trigger deep memories because I personally have experienced it before. I remember I used to love my grandfather's noodle soup, he had his own recipe and no one, not even my mom could remake his noodle soup. But once in an authentic Sichuan, restaurant, I smell something really similar which made me cried coz it reminds me of my grandfather 's noodle soup
