Update: Rescheduling Our STEEMIT MEET UP & 2.5 Day LAKE & BAKE CLIFF JUMPING SUPER CAMP FEAST FUNdraiser Due to Weather
It is forecasted to rain all weekend at Lake Whitney - apparently there's a hurricane hitting the coast of Texas!
While this is a bit of a disappointment because we have an epic event scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the lake, it is great that the plants will get some much needed rain!
We will reschedule our awesome 2.5 Day LAKE & BAKE CLIFF JUMPING SUPER CAMP FEAST FUNdraiser for another weekend in which we can thoroughly enjoy the great outdoors.
We have lots of great events on the agenda (including our 3rd Steemit Meet Up and cliff jumping!), so we do not want to cancel it completely - we will find another time to accommodate a large camping party.

I suppose this is a good call, even though the weather changes here on the drop of a dime. I can't image it stopping us from having fun, but as you say, we want others to come and enjoy it too. Most people don't care for camping in the rain and it may test the resilience of some. Gratefully there are more opportunities to come!

Yes when hosting an event we definitely want to be considerate of others who will attend, and not everyone is as comfortable in the elements as we are. Looking forward to everyone's enjoyment when it does happen!
It took me a bit to rectify that floor, but in the long run it was a blessing.
When it happens I'm sure it will be a blast, as going or being anywhere with ourselves and our buds is always primo.

Temps look great! Honestly our ecovillage residents would be undeterred by a little rain as well, but we want everyone to have the maximum fun possible so it seems like a good call to wait for sunnier weather.
