The first video game console in history.

-A huge greeting to the entire Steemit community, this time I have the pleasure of coming to write about the first @videogame console in history called Magnavox Odyssey. After an internet search I was able to inform you a little about this first console that gave you a I turn to all the games encouraging better consoles like the ones that exist nowadays, for that reason I will inform you later about this console which @maybe many of us are not informed.

-It all started with the man nicknamed the father of video games whose name is Ralph Baer, they set him the objective in 1951 to create a television model but Ralph thought that to be perfect he had to have something that could entertain a game so that television was differentiated from the others, however his ideas were not heard and it was already in 1966 where he manages to attract the attention of Sanders Associates who was interested in his idea of creating interactive games on screens, thus getting assigned to a assistant Bob Tremblay and they gave him an empty room where he could work on his new project.

During this journey they were making several prototypes but this became popular after Baer and his partners signed a contract with Magnavox which was in charge of the design of the final console and added more games, despite all the sales ended up being a success .

A little more about the Odyssey

It was called Brown Boxy in total only came to have 28 games all with great simplicity, highlighting that they had no sound or consisted with any processor or memory, the controls of this lacked nothing more than 1 button to run the game.

Imcarbial cartridges were used for the various games offered and due to its small hardware players should always write or memorize any type of scores.

Among the Magnavox Oddysey games were sports classics such as tennis and hockey, they devised some transparent plastic sheets that adhered to the TV depending on the game it gave a different perspective and area to the game, there were times that even the same plates were shared for the game and the only thing that changed were the rules.

There were other special sheets of a map that was an educational game where we should indicate where the state was that the other person indicates. While there was another special sheet of a casino roulette, where we used a board that was included in the Odyssey pack, the console was transformed into an automatic roulette where players could bet as if they were in a real casino.

The creators of this first console had to manage very well to create flashy games for the public and despite not having sone or a memory to save the scores, attached notebooks to record the scores of players this came as a complement to the board games that came in the pack.

Another thing that gave a spin to this console was another of the inventions of the creator of the Brown Box, Ralph Baer was a rifle for a shooting game to improve the Odyssey this became the first accessory of the console, the which consisted of shooting targets in movements that appeared on the screen.

This was all from the post, I hope you liked it, I think it's impressive, the evolution of videogame    consoles, starting this way for the first time that all cons, without knowing, everything, generated everything, a change in this technology, without more to say thank you for your attention.
