Creating Miracles Through Forgiveness ( Part 1 of 3 )

The Power of Forgiveness - Miracles Happen When You FORGIVE.

If you meet two people to whom bad things were done to and one wants revenge and the other has already forgiven who would you rather hangout with?

Of course the one who wants revenge will not stop talking about the hurt and will be filled with thoughts of how to get back at the person who hurt him. The victim lives in him and his heart is filled with anguish and hatred. On the other hand the one who has forgiven, has a warm glow on his face and is filled with Love. When you forgive it uplifts you and transforms you.

Forgiveness does not invalidate your journey or your experience, it only brings it to “Full Circle” so you can move on with life, treasuring the “The Pearl of Wisdom” that the experience birthed. If you do not forgive, the bad experience will be an irritation forever. Most people never forgive and take the irritation to their graves.

Through this Three-Part series of posts, it is my intention to get across the importance of understanding the gift of forgiveness in moving forward and living a fruitful and joyous life. And even beyond that I truly desire to focus this post on getting across the fact that everything that unfolds in our lives originates from a single source. And therefore to get the reader to understand that whatever the occurrence maybe, or however painful it is, what enfolded must be Part of The ONE. When one truly understands this, forgiving happens without effort.

One of the stories that best illustrates this, is the story of the Little Soul and the Sun. (adopted from the best selling book Conversations With God by Neal Donald Walsh ). This wonderfully illustrated children’s parable is about a Little Soul that wants to come back to Earth to Experience Life again.

The story goes ... Once upon a "no time" in heaven a Little Soul gets stirrings to come back to Earth and experience Life. So he talks to God about this.

The conversation with God leads to a point where God says to the Little Soul, “ You are like a Candle in the Sun. You are there, along with a million, gazillion other Candles who make up the Sun.”

Here it is very clear that The Sun is compared to our Consciousness or the Source. The story is very interesting in that, the Little Soul is sent on an adventure back to Earth to experience the Act of Forgiving. And the perpetrator is a volunteer who is a very friendly Soul who volunteers to go back to Earth and do a very bad deed to help this Little Soul experience the Act of Forgiving. This little story is a must read.

Often now, when it is hard to forgive someone, this little story comes to my mind. If one candle is condemned then the Sun is no longer as bright as it is with ALL of it’s Candles. Maybe next time you find it hard to forgive someone, you will remember the Little Soul.

We must understand that it is impossible to be outside the Omnipresent Spirit of All that IS. The more we feel the ”connectedness” or the ”non-separation” from this “ONE SOURCE” we are at peace with our selves, for in this we will always find ourselves living in the “PRESENT”, and the “Past” will be a long forgotten “adventure” we agreed to have when we were “somewhere else” like the Little Soul.
