Some times too much water leads to no water in the middle of the hot hot Peruvian summer in the city of Lima.

Natural disasters is common where I live. We have Earthquakes, Landslides, Heavy Rain & Flooding happening on an irregular basis and this time it is another flood mudding up the water coming into the capital of Perú and force the water company to cut off the water supply to all citizens to avoid what you see to clogging up the system.

Of course this affects everyones livelyhood except those who have their own water-storage for these kinds of unpredictable events and we do not know how long until they can turn the water back on again so that Peruvian citizens again can shower, take a bath or drink clean water again.

Luckily a minimum of people have died in this disaster because every time it rains in Lima North - the same problems occur and looking at this river that is what bring in the water we all use (10 million people) makes me wonder why people try to keep a civilization right next to the river.

Anyway, I live in Lima South - and I just wanted to share this local story with you guys, crossing my fingers they can clean up the water soon enough so we don´t run out of our spare supplies.
