The world's largest bird sculpture is at Jatayu Nature Park in Kollam, Kerala, India

It has been built on the site to mark the place, where the mythical Jatayu fell while fighting the demon king Ravana, who had abducted Lord Rama’s wife Sita.

The great mythical bird Jatayu sculpture is 61 m long, 46 m broad, 21 m in height and is having 1,400 m2 of floor area.

The park will offer a mix of art, epics, history, technology, wellness and adventure.

The sculpture is positioned at an altitude of 1,000 feet. Since the climb to the top of the rock involves over 2km of walking, a cable car facility will take tourists directly from the parking ground to the peak.

The place will also have an ayurvedic cave resort, a museum, a 6D theatre, and an adventure zone with activities such as paint ball, archery, laser tag, rifle shooting, rock climbing, and rappelling, among many others.

The magnificent sculpture of Jatayu has been fashioned out of concrete within a period of more than ten years.

The feathers on its wings and neck are distinct and sculpted with perfection, almost giving the viewer the impression of the bird rising from the rock.
