Summer weekend retreat in the nature
Good day Steemers! I hope everyone is enjoying their Saturday. It's high summer so it's quite possible that after writing this post i will rocket outside and straight to the woods :)
Recently i had the opportunity to spend a few days on a summer retreat with a client. Living in a concrete city i welcome every opportunity to get outside, so it was no different this time.
I had no idea what was coming, all i knew we were supposed to dress sporty.
Well, it turned out the first half of the day was organized as a sporty competition between teams. We were grouped and let loose into the woods, where we would climb the treetops in the old-growth forests, zipline across small valleys and do various other tasks in the woods.
This is the place we first came to. Surrounded by nature and ancient forests, this place will give you new life.
The forests are ancient. If not for our groups yelling and shouts, this place would only be filled with the sounds of nature.
I'm pretty sure i saw a sea of chanterelle mushrooms down there.
Over the next hours, we ziplined....
climbed various attractions in the woods...
and had our physique tested in many other ways.
Currently you can see only two, but there were actually ziplines all over the place.
Later on, our groups went on to a holiday center, where we had multiple log cabins reserved. The holiday center is situated on the shores of Lake Rummu, a world famous place, about which i will definitely write in the future. Canoeing, games, swimming, saunas, good food all made this a spectacular experience.
In additon to the log cabins, you could sleep in these awesome barrels, docked on the shores of the lake. Romantic stuff, believe me ;)
Don't know if you can really get any sleep with a view like this ;)
This is it for now, i enjoyed that weekend thoroughly and those places are definitely on my visit-again list. Thank you for reading!
