RE: Adaptability - Act 13 part 2 - attunement

in #life6 years ago

memories are such powerful filters.
We tend to over value them.
They are anchored by our needs, and our needs are largely fictitious
What do I really, absolutely, need right now?
What is merely a desire anchored with a mild discomfort?
Is it the level of discomfort that drives my actions, how I will spend my energy and time
Or is my motivation, my call to action, driven by something other than tension, stress, embodied fear?

Of course is it ok, to follow desire, compulsion and the alleviation of tension, but I wonder what we might be led by if we trusted our senses more than our memories?

How might that effect our larger investments and energy flows, the choices available to our children's children?

Are we building a world based on fear and control, on structures designed to create and take away tension, to guide the flows of energy?
Or are we building a world that appreciates and harmonises with the existing food chains, water, carbon and nitrogen cycles?
Are we curious about what nature was doing, or only about how to manipulate that? By overselling the benefits, hiding the costs and by guiding focus away from nature and keeping it in tension - in needs and desires - in memory rather than real time sensation?

I do not see all this as an evil master plot, more like a grand mystery, a really bizarre side chain in evolutions tenacious imperative to keep the bang from collapsing..just yet.
