Eastern Chipmunk (No shame)
This weekend was another sunny and beautiful one. I had the privilege of spending much of it outdoors.
I visited a local museum with my family. The building was surrounded by a green space and as we took a walk around the building we were treated to a close up view of the local wildlife.

A pair of Eastern Chipmunks were dining on the crumbs from an overhead hanging bird feeder. Those sloppy birds left quite a mess. Thankfully, nothing goes to waste in nature. The chipmunks were more than happy to clean up.

Such precious creatures to watch. I've held many a conversation with them when hunting in the woods when I should have been very quiet in my "blind." Maybe that's why I never get anything...lol...
That's hilarious. They are pretty friendly little creatures, unlike their squirrel cousins. :)
Yes, but my goodness they like to scold you for awhile after you invade their turf!
