O Y P Vlog #216: How Do You Teach Free Thinking?!

Yesterday came with a wonderful visit from my sister and her family. I had a wonderful conversation with my 17 year old niece about life and school. She shared with me the environment that she is in everyday. She explained that as a white Christian ....she is always wrong. Always on the wrong side of any social idea. She is singled out and told she is wrong.

As teachers sow into the young people these days, do they have time to learn how to think freely. How do we encourage others to think beyond themselves. We have to think beyond our self to truly see someone else's view point. Is it possible for these students to be able to think beyond themselves to see other points of view.

How do we respect what others think and encourage them to also think outside of that.
