You are lucky with the climate much more, @fredkese :). You are absolutely right, Our weather is not only often cold, it is also less Sunny.
On average, according to statistics, we have only 60-70 Sunny days a year. The rest of the time - it's all shades of gray :). Therefore, these days there are so many people on the streets and everyone enjoys the sun and warm air. In the coldest winter days the temperature can drop to -25-30 Celsius.

Wow. I guess there are positives and negatives about everything. Difficult to fall asleep sometimes because of the heat here.

Here it's not a problem :) We find it harder to fall asleep during the white nights. We have to close the darker curtains, lol.
