This was the Bengal Lounge at the Fairmont Empress in Victoria, Canada.
I would say my wife and I were were the youngest there by 2 decades.
Here's my problem with these places, they're too much. In every way they're over the top, and I think that hurts these businesses. Our generation doesn't really care. We like tasty treats, good cocktails and cheap beer.
This place is now out of business. Lierally just a giant empty room.
