Creating Camouflage Hair Step By Step
Getting camouflage hair takes a lot of time. We start by bleaching the hair which takes about 30 minutes to get the bleach in just right. Then it sits for about one hour. After that we wash the bleach out and hope it comes out white. This whole process takes a total of about 1.5 hours roughly.
The lightest color goes on first, green. This takes about 45 minutes to do as it takes time drawing the design.
Now we move on to the brown. Like the green, brown takes about 45 minutes as well.
This particular time we have to do the black and touch ups the following day due to ran out of time.
When we get to black it generally goes faster. Black takes around 35 minutes as it is basically fill in the remaining space. But you still need to be careful not to mix the colors.
Then we let all the colors set for about 1 hour. After that we rinse the dye out and wash thoroughly. Total time is about 4 hours and 35 minutes give or take.
And here is the final result:
