this one went back into the water. big barramundi like this one are breeding females so we let her go to fight another day. Normally I cook Barramundi fresh if i can, simple with salt and pepper a bit of lemon and its a very clean eating fish not too overpowering.
it was a great fight, took about 5 minutes to get into the boat. Normally a big fish like this you would play it out but it was close to snags so brought in hard and fast. I used hard body lures like Barra classics in white and green with yellows.
