Joint firefighters traning from the Dębno Commune.
The last day was the maneuvers of the Fire Brigades from the Dębno Commune. The subject of the exercises was searching for a missing family and an evening search of the forest in Maszkienice.
At 16:30, the sound of fire sirens was heard in 12 localities of the Dębno Commune. Firefighters learned about the organization of rescue exercises. Each of the TSO units and the JRG Brigade of PSP Brzesko were sent to the Fireman's House in Maszkienice. At the site of the mobilization of the departments, a preparatory presentation for the exercises and a reminder of the topic of hypothermia was carried out.
The next step of the exercise was to go all the OSP units and the JRG team to the forest in Maszkienice. On the spot, the units, equipped with emergency medical equipment, torches and special protective clothing, set out by the forest road and began searching. In the middle of the dark forest there was a suspicion that there were 12 missing people.
Every team OSP was assigned one the victim Her task was to find the victim, providing first aid and transport to an ambulance.
The purpose of the maneuvers was to prepare firefighters for exploration activities in a large area and rescue the victims.
The exercises were attended by 12 groups of Volunteer Fire Brigades from the Dębno Commune and the JRG Brigade of PSP Brzesko, 12 firefighters as partisans and organizers who followed firefighters all the time.
Emergency rehearsal and training help to prepare the firefighers what to do during crisis. In my country, all schools will need to conduct fire drills as well as terrorism drills so that all children will know what to do when unexpected emergency happens.
