taking in the heat
Today is time for some random thoughts
Outside here in Bayern it is 28°C and everyone is outside enjoying the weather, the coals for the BBQ are sold out everywhere, there are huge queues at all the Ice parlors.
People are sitting outside having a drink, doing some peoplewatching and just having a grand time.
This is all amazing but when you really start to think about it then it gets a bit cold around my heart...
Its the 21st of April and its almost 30° outside.
This should not be the case, it should be raining or at least be a lot cooler.
Is this a true sign of the warming climate or just a fluke?
Personally I think global warming is a thing, its not a figment of some random green movement. There are probably more things behind it but we as a species are really responsible for a lot of pollution and then we should also live with the consequences.
There is this saying:
do not shit where you eat
but that is just what we are doing as a species... and for the moment we are stuck here on this world so there are no do-overs
We should take care of the place we live in.
If everyone tries to reduce their carbon footprint just by a bit then just maybe we can start to enjoy summer in summertime again... It has only taken us 100 years to really mess it up so hopefully we can clean it back up as well.

I was speaking with a friend yesterday about the climate, how sunny and hot it is here in Nigeria, instead of raining or been humid.
We as an individual need to do something about .
well, just recycling helps, walking instead of taking the car, reducing our carbon footprint

Climate change is real. Part of the problem is getting folks to realize that global warming does NOT mean it’s just hotter all the time everywhere. It means that the mean (or overall average) temperature is rising worldwide and is causing more extremes and worse severity in weather patterns. We’re getting hotter and more frequent heatwaves, stronger and more frigid arctic and/or polar air masses, stronger and more frequent hurricanes and monsoons, more nor’easters, more catastrophic draughts, more catastrophic flooding.
It seems environmental perspective is extremely myopic. Someone in Michigan sees five or six feet of snow on the ground in his immediate community and opines, “Where’s that global warming everyone’s talking about.” Mr. Michigan doesn’t seem able to connect the record draughts and heatwaves of the Summers in Australia at the same time he’s seeing record breaking snow levels in his own front yard as part of the same problem – climate change.
very well put... its the change of the patterns all over the world... if for example this equilibrium changes enough and the gulf stream wold be interrupted then the whole world will experience a whole different climate
The weather is Topsy-turfy everywhere. Here in Jerusalem, it has been cool (17 in April it is), windy and rainy. Quite unusual indeed.

Over here in Nigeria, it's a bit hotter when it is supposed to be cold. You barely can sleep without a fan in your room.

Global Warming is now the knife which is hanging above our head.It is now the matter of time when we all going regret for our doing..But i think it is not so late now,let's do something for our nature.
