Spring lambs... welcome to the world
Today on Easter Monday we were back home and decided to go for a walk and drove to around 1350m above sea level for a walk
We arrived in the twilight zone where Spring has arrived but winter still has some claws on the land...
we passed by a meadow with some sheep and one was giving birth to these 2 little lambs. The ones you see here are still being licked clean by a loving tender mother. They are new to this world being only minutes old. They were really super cute trying to get on their feet and softly bleating and looking around to this strange new place they had just arrived. What will life bring for these small animals? Who knows but here in Switzerland the sheep seem to have a really good life with the alp meadows to graze from and wonder around in...
They were also visited by another lamb but one so much wiser of the world by at least a few days...
This is another reminder to take care of our world and try to make it better, if everyone makes a little effort, then the results will be huge and future generations can live in a world that is green and healthy...
a world where the changing of the seasons present us with magical scenes of contrast and beauty...
I am wondering why they are in yellow but parent in white :D?
They were born just a few minutes before the picture was taken. The yellow is from the mothers belly. I would assume they are already white now. The mother was licking them clean
