BITTER/SWEET IRONY ๐๐๐๐๐๐
Is it just my thought? Or it's the fact!
Life they say is not a bed of roses,
This fact I agree and equally disagree
Life in my opinion is what you make of it.
It can Mar you if you so agree
It can dignify you if you face it.
Sometimes it wears a mask so scary and most times, it wear an irresistible smiles.
It can offer you a throne to sit forever
And it can make you sit for a short while.
It can offer you smiles every day and it can make some days so moody and teary.
It can offer the best of friends and companions and it can equally bless you with the bad and most terrible of humans.
It brings some to the world with a silver spoon and gave wooden spoons to others leaving them with the chance of making their golden or silver spoons.
It places most people at the top but with sleepless nights and diseases, and brought some to the mud filled with rest and smiles. freedom it offers to some but to some restrictions beyond help.
Such irony marvels the thoughts of humans. But I refused to be awed!
It's a bed of roses filed with thorns to some. And a thorny bed filled with roses to others.
But in all these, it depends on how comfortable we choose to remain on that bed.
Life can be choked instead of being choked by it. It's a matter of the mind and mentality.
I just took few moments in class today to reminisce about life and I find my fingers scribbling these, I just thought I should share.
