Vegetarian restaurants in Chiang Mai

Chiang Mai is probably one of the cities with more vegetarian variety but above all and more important, organic. This makes life easier for vegetarians and can even encourage those who want to start in this way of feeding without too many complications.

I emphasize the importance of organic food because unfortunately in Thailand high levels of pesticide are used that make the intake of these vegetable foods unwise. Hence my insistence.

I am not 100% vegetarian but since I moved to Chiang Mai I have reduced meat consumption. For health and also for ethics. The great variety of natural foods seduces and facilitates things if you are open to other food alternatives.

Look in the street stalls for the symbol of Yé (vegetarian in Thai), which is like the one shown in the post of this image. This type of diet in addition to a good price is easy to find in any store or market.

Located in the popular neighborhood of Nimman, my favorite dish is the masamán with sweet potato. They serve the best banana shake I've tried in the city. My suggestion, ask for it with black sesame.

Pun Pun

It is my favorite. Al that I go almost every day, probably because it is near my house. Salads, burritos, quesadillas, all organic and vegan. It also has an organic market that opens every Saturday.

Vegan Heaven

The dishes offered by this restaurant are not particularly tasty, at least I did not like the espaghetties with green curry sauce that I drank. However, it's worth going through here just to try the vegan brownie. Curiously, despite the size of the portion, I did not find anything heavy.

Amrita Garden

Your vegan burger is the star dish. Your terrace is also very pleasant.
