This is one of the most important lessons in life, as I grow older, I found that humans are
so manipulative, if you show any kind of weakness then you are doomed. So what we should do ? are we supposed to be hard and aggressive rather than soft and gentle?
Not really, the best thing to do is to
find that sweet spot between the two, one research on human behavior studied the affection of children toward their parents, there were 3 groups of parents in the study: Bad parents, soft parents who always answer their needs and parents who are somehow in between. The results were astonishing! They found that children became attached to the third group more than the others, then the second group and finally the first.
As human we have rights, but you need to take them by force because no one will give them to you on a silver plate, that's absurd I know but the faster you accept this fact the more likely to move on and start living by your owns rules.
There will be always battles to be fought, so be prepared for some action!
Some of these battles are just not meant for you, not every one is worth fighting for even if it means giving up your rights , sometimes you will lose much more than you gain,
so always choose your battles wisely !
