A Museum Where You Get Paid to Complete 18th Century Puzzles

in #life7 years ago

The Strong National Museum of Play, based in Rochester, NY, is hiring a full-time "Puzzle Cataloger" for a six-month contract. The job would entail helping piece together their collection of 7,500 jigsaw puzzles that date back as far as the 18th century, putting together enough pieces in each puzzle, then logging the historic image and finally figuring out which country it may originate from, and its time period.

Of course, casual puzzlers it's not "that easy", This post requires someone who can analyze and identify a historical image.

“It’s somebody who’s curious and ready to learn,”  says Christopher Bensch, Vice President for Collections at The Strong.

Bensch said you’ll start at more than minimum wage, but not enough to afford that new car you’ve been dreaming about, he says. The job also comes with other benefits like 'paid time off, holiday pay and medical coverage.

So "if you like puzzles" Would YOU take the job?
