to take children away from loving families
and place them in foster care or group homes
or put up for adoption.

Do you think this is just a male trait, to need power over what they think are needy women? Are you talking about abuse of state power or therapists power? I'm interested in what you're saying and interested that a man is saying it. Will read the other posts and try and understand where you're coming from. Thanks for writing this.
