From your post i can see you are enjoying china and adapting to the lifestyle quite well.
I didnt see you mention about having a family with you there, i will like to know if its a country you can settle dwn with your family in.
If you are committed to living in China, you can settle down here. I know people that have already done this. Their children attend international schools. The other foreign teacher at my school is married to a Chinese woman and they bought an apartment and just had a baby. Living in China isn't for everyone though, it is a challenge adapting to a completely new way of living. However, it definitely can be done.
